@Robin Good Thank you for this list. You made me think of "link rot" for the first time. If I read this right, does that mean the links I'm collecting in Zotero may rot in the future and I won't have access to the full data?
Yes @JoyceWycoff you have got it right.
Unless you pro-actively preserve your newly created links in Zotero many of them will eventually change or go offline.
Since you are not alone in this there are some utilities and apps that have been created to solve this issue. Here's one:
