Dear Robin, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I hadn't encountered Calmly Writer before, and it seems quite interesting to incorporate into my workflow.
I am a psychotherapist interested in how AI is changing the field. There is much to reflect on and calmly write about.
P.S.: Substack, like any modern publishing platform that involves a social aspect, is a lot about authenticity and trust.
Having one’s own name is an important element in my view, to build and nurture relationships with others.
I myself have been having problems in building a true relationships with those substackers who have a brand in place of their name. It’s just difficult because I want to have relationships with a person, not with a brand.
Hey Robin, that is indeed food for thought. I agree with your assessment and will think about changing that. Without a real name it is more difficult to connect.
Thank you Gregory. No, I have not. But now that you have mentioned it I will start considering it. What would you expect to see in such videos? What do you want them to help you with?
I’d like to see your fave or most used software, a brief guide to the interface (what you use, not the whole thing), a demo of how you use it, and a link or two to the best manual/faq/youtube channel where you get user tips. And please closed caption it. Basically, imagine you have 3-5 minutes w me at an airport and you’re showing me a dope took that will save me 20-180 minutes a week…
Excellent advice Gregory. Thank you for being so thorough and specific. Exactly what I wanted. I'll work on exploring this opportunity you just highlighted.

Glad to have been of help my friend.
Wish I could call you by name.
Thank you, Robin. My name is Marc.
I chose a Substack name that encapsulates what my writing is about, and Marc did not really fit in :)
Hello Marc, thanks for your kindness.
That makes life easier.

I love iA Writer . Only for Mac, but is blissfully minimalist and powerful.
Appreciate your work here.
